Friday, Feb 10, Salute to Black History Month: Jazz & Concert Music
7:00 - 9:00pm. Join us for a Salute to Black History Month performance presented in collaboration with Park Avenue Presenters, Inc. In memory of Hale Smith, distinguished African-American composer, the performance will feature the vocal stylizations of Tara Nova and Natalya Simone, accompanied by musical directors/pianists Paul Heffner and Jay Anthony Gach. They will perform works of jazz and concert music created by members of the Long Island Composers Alliance. Seating is limited. Advance registration is recommended. Members $15, Non-Members $20.
