Anointing of the Sick
The Anointing of the Sick is intended for those who will be entering the hospital or having surgery; those who are chronically ill and those suffering from the effects of emotional problems and old age. The Saturday 8:30am Mass is also offeced for all those who have requested the prayers of the community and are enrolled in Our Lady's Novena Mass. Enrollment cards for the living and the dead are available in the Fr. Schaefer Parish Center.
We Celebrate the Sacrament of Penance-Confessions
Monday through Friday after the 12:10pm Mass
Saturdays 4:00 to 5:00pm
Please feel free to make an appointment with one of the priests for Confession at any other time.
We Celebrate Baptism
Baptism is celebrated on Sundays at 2:15pm. Parents planning a Baptism should call the Parish Center for details. Parents attend a Preparation session on the First Monday of the month from 8:00pm to 9:30pm in the Church. Please call the Rectory (516-334-0021) at least six weeks in advance. Coordinators of the program are John and Edna Abdale (516-334-0021) and Frank and Maureen Pesce (5156-997-4778).
We Celebrate Marriage
Please call the Rectory (516-334-0021) at least six months in advance to make arrangements for marriage in St. Brigid's Church and to make arrangements for the Parish In-Home Pre-Cana Program. The coordinators are Daine and Dick McIver (516-334-7253).
